Happy Birthday Sid Vahal. The inspiration behind and the reason for The Sid Foundation!

Also, a very Happy New Year to all of our supporters!

It is a new year and it is Sid's 31st birthday. For these two important reasons we would like to share our projected plans for 2016 with all of our supporters.

As you all may know, The Sid Foundation began on May 18, 2015, one year after Sid passed away due to complications from his double lung transplant. We created The Sid Foundation to raise funds and awareness for lung transplant research and to help others that might be in Sid's shoes.

One of the ways in which we plan to spread awareness is by providing a platform for lung transplant patients around the world to share their stories on our blog so that their voice is heard as well as shared with others who might be going through similar situations. We will also be interviewing doctors in order to provide the latest in lung transplant research. If you or anyone you know has had a lung transplant please contact us at info@thesidfoundation.org so we can share your story!

We will also be involved in events around the community through out this year in order to get our mission out into the community. More information will be provided about these events as the year progresses.

We will also be posting monthly blogs in order to share as much information about the foundation, upcoming events, and lung transplant research so please stay tuned.

Of course, we still offer FREE Laughter Yoga sessions to anyone who is interested. We hold FREE sessions at our local library as well. We will announce the time and dates for those soon.

We also have a new merchandise store where you can get your favorite gear with our logo on it. We have everything from t-shirts and hoodies to hats and bags. All of the proceeds received from the online store go to The Sid Foundation so it's a great way to support us and shop for yourself. Check it out!

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your undying support in helping the foundation grow steadily. We could not have made it this far without all of you. We have big things in store for 2016 and I am excited to share them with all of you!
