Although the biggest cause of lung cancer is smoking, it’s not the only cause. Lung cancer can be caused by other factors.

Causes of Lung Cancer:
  • Smoking (biggest cause)
  • Radon Gas exposure (2nd biggest cause)
  • Asbestos
  • Second hand smoke
  • Pollution
  • Diesel exhaust

It's very important to avoid exposure to these carcinogens to have healthy lungs and prevent lung cancer.

Often, lung cancer patients need a lung transplant. To help lung transplant patients, please donate to The Sid Foundation today.
